Pyschic exercise 4

This month, listen to your body. Every morning as you wake up, run a mental scanner over yourself from head to toe and see if you are getting any signals. Do you have any psychic telegrams in the form of aches and pains, illness or tension? If so, what are they telling you? Acknowledge what you are feeling and tell your body "I am listening".
While taking a shower, talk to your body and check in with what is going on. Ask if it wants you to know anything important that you have not noticed before, and let it know that you are now paying attention. If you have been cursing your body, or rejecting criticizing it, stop, because you are really hurting yourself. Your body is your ally, so quit attacking it, or it will not be able to help you. Don't shoot the messenger--after all, your body can only work with what you give it, and it is just trying to protect you either from yourself or something in your world.
If you have particular physical challenge, ask your body what you can do to ease the problem. Resist the temptation to dismiss this as a waste of time. The best way to stay healthy is to talk to your body first: "it is the best diagnostician i know"
Don't feel as if you are imagining things when you body talks to you- even if you are, what you are imagining will have meaning. Pay close attention, and voice these messages out loud so that you can actually hear what your body is saying. Sometimes the more you speak out loud, the more your body's message will come through.
Heed any signals your body sends you throughout the day. Be alert for any tension, tightness, rumbles, tickles, flickers, uneasiness, pain, loss or surge of energy, or fits of restlessness-- and see if they correlate to the situation you are in. Does the tightness in your chest correspond to entering your work place? Does the busrt of energy you feel have anything to do with the great new friend you just met or the class you enrolled in? Notice how your body communicates the red and green lights of psychic feed back, and dont censor or dismiss a thing.
Opening a dialogue with your body is the beginning of creating better physical and psychic health. If you listen, your sixth sense will guide you.
