BOOK REVIEW Seeing the dead, Talking to spirit

I noticed this book at a friends house a few months back and decided that i would like to read it. It is written by Alexendra Leclere. It is her journey into enlightment and healing. As i was reading i found that i could relate to what she was saying in the beginning of her journey when we think we have found the one who is to teach us what we need at that time. But what we forget is that it is our journey not theirs. Interestingly enough it is more how we let others control us like we dont have a mind of our own and that we think we need their permission to work at our journey. It then becomes about them and not us. These "teachers" become our crutch so to speak. But what we have to do is to speak OUR truth and look at what we want and where we want it to take us. In the end this is what she did and became not only a very well respected medium in her own right but a wonderful sharman healer. It is also the pain she endured to reach this goal and how when she started out how it was important to do a documentary on healing and healers and ended up with her becoming the healer in her own right.
WALKING THE WALK page 205/207
These days my face is always smiling and I have a sense of joy and peace that i never knew was possible until i began to live it. My world is colourful and abundant.
Once, when i was channeling Mother Mary, she said "If you are greedy, you will always be poor. If you are wealthy, you will always be rich." To me that means recognising all the blessings i enjoy that make me feel wealthy. In other words, seeing the glass half full, rather than half empty. That way i always have what i need. If i let myself worry about not having enough, and i am greedy, i will always feel poor. The baseline of need grows as we acquire more. Our appetites grow, and we believe we need even more than we initially thought. When will we ever have enough? I have learned to always feel wealthy, and spirit has always provided for me, regardless of what it might be i believe i need.
The real bottom line is trust in the Creator. Put your energy behind your intention to trust the Great Mystery to provide for you, to help you manifest your dreams, and to accomplish your personal spiritual mission here on Earth. Often, when things don't turn out the way we want, there is the bigger picture to consider. a bigger picture that incorporates our larger spiritual mission.
we also should not forget our basic mission on Earth. To understand our basic mission on Earth we just need to look at a tree. For it to complete its mission on Earth, it just needs to be----that is it.
By its mere existence, the tree does what it is supposed to do. The tree has its personal agenda too. It has potential growth pattern that it attempts to achieve while it is facing challenges from weather, other trees, animals, people, illness and so forth. Regardless of how far along the tree gets in fulfilling its personal agenda, it has completed its basic mission on Earth simply by being alive.
It is the same for us. We complete our basic mission simply by "showing up" every day. The rest is our personal agenda. We lose sight of the fact that we are all ready doing a good job just by keeping ourselves alive, and we get so attached to our personal agenda that often times then only we succeed at making ourselves miserable.
Trust in the Creator also means walking fearlessly. Remember that if you spend a lot of time trying to protect yourself spiritually, you are constantly living in fear. You must trust the Creator to protect you. If you should feel especially uncomfortable in a situation, you can pray to the white light of the Holy Spirit to enclose you, and you can imagine a beautiful white light descending all around you. In this way, you will be protected.
If your wish to read more then you will have to acquire the book.
