In a sense we are all ghosts-that is spirits residing in psychical bodies. When our spiritual work is done on this earth, our physical bodies shut down and our ghostly body exists. The solid, dense energy of our physical body begins to deteriorate. The light, transparent energy body that is an exact replica of the physical body emerges and moves into the spirit worlds. There are no mistakes, and no deaths before their time. Nor are there deaths that could have been avoided. Why? Because there is no death, period. There is only transition from a physical existence to a nonphysical one. Once we are on the other side we, we are officially termed "ghosts". Ghosts are either "in the light" or "earthbound". Most of the ghosts with whom i communicate with are in the light. Most scary ghost stories are about earthbound ghosts.
Ghosts are forms of energy, just as humans are forms of energy. They appear quite like their physical bodies. When i see ghosts, i rarely see fragments of a person, like a head or an arm, floating around in space. I see neither a mass of swirling, white clouds nor a white sheet with two holes cut out where eyes would supposedly go. I always see full human forms, complete with hair, facial features, and clothing. Most of the time ghosts appear youthful, healthy and in the prime of life.
Note as usual i always enjoy reading James books. They are easy to read and very informative on all aspects of life after death and i do recommend this one as it is a follow really on Heaven and Earth. It also has interesting little stories and also exercise for protection. So well worth the read.
