MY STORY (KEEPING IT SIMPLE)CONTINUED

24/9/2009
Did circle on Tuesday night and what a mind blower that was as Vita channeled through a spirit who had had a stroke but spoke clear enough for us to understand what was being said and bugger left my tape recorder home. The information being relayed was about stress and how it affects each and everyone of us and of course strokes can be a result of this so made us stop and think. Of course we are still doing our spirit drawings and it is becoming interesting as we could only do stick figures as Mandy says. But they are beginning to look like people so hopefully we can only improve. Cant wait until Tuesday.

The girls, Mandy, Vita and myself did the church service this month and it was a good feeling when we finished, so, so that now after saying that she did not want to do anymore platform work Mandy is hopping on board again. This church that we do is so nice the people are warm and friendly which of course makes it all the more easy for us to work with spirit. Unfortunately we will not be able to do our next lot of `commitments as I have babysitting priorities and am going in for an eye operation.
Never mind we will be back on board next year.

The trip to Vietnam was wonderful. The country was very clean and green parks everywhere. Our hotel was great and the people very friendly. Robert and I did a lot of sight seeing whilst we were there. We arrived on the Saturday and was very tired as we had a long day and night and not all travelling as we had worked on the Friday and then went to the city to have dinner with friends and then on to the airport as our plane left at 1am the next day so it was 27 hours all up. We had a nanny nap and then off we went to find our bearings. Sunday was the same, as we liked to go to the park and just relax. The weather was lovely not hot and yet not cold. As the afternoon went on it started to get windy but then settled. Always rained through the night and on some of our tours. Monday we went to the Me Cong Delta River for a tour. Along the way we took in the floating markets where people lived on the junks and sold their veges to others. People actually lived on these boats fulltime and bought up their families on here and these people would have been lucky if they had an education. It was then on to a candy factory where they made cocoanut lollies and others as well. These were made by hand and also wrapped. These were delicious and also experienced lotus tea and what fascinated me was that they placed the teapot in a cocoanut shell and this apparently kept it warm for up to 2 hours. As we were leaving to go back on the boat I had previously asked spirit to give me a sign if my mother-in-law and father were with us on the holiday, and as sure as we were walking along a path way when the tour guide went off for a couple of minutes and returned with two flowers in hand and presented them to me. I knew it was my sign that I was looking for. On next to a nursery where they were growing fruit trees of all kinds and they were not short of them. We were then given a taste of the fruit and I must say that I liked the grapefruit, not sweet but not sour. Also the spider fruit I think it was called. A lovely day all in all as did a little shopping as well. Was very good with shopping as usually when we go away I always get hit with excess baggage. Tues we then ventured on to the city tour. In this we took in the palace and this looked like they led a very simple life with the furniture. It definitely was not modern or expensive. The view of the city from the palace was impressive I must say. There was machinery and planes from the war situated around the yard. We then proceeded to the Catholic Church, which was beautiful, and every piece of it was transported from France. We also watched lots of weddings, as there seemed to be one on every corner. The brides and the dresses were breathtaking. Next the post office which is very beautiful on the inside and very large. We passed the opera house and watched a choir singing. Our guide was very informative and had lots of knowledge about Vietnam and especially Saigon. Moving forward he left us for awhile at the war museum which was horrific but certainly detailed in describing events and those that lost their lives in the war. 3 million Vietnamese were killed in the war and 2 million of these were civilians. Many journalists also lost their lives and there is a biography on them. You can still the American influence in Vietnam today with the way the older generation speak and of course all the equipment left behind. The Australian help after the war can be seen in the way that they have helped to rebuild the country and many still go there to day voluntarily to help with those who are in need. We toured the lacquer factory where many Vietnamese who have been inflicted with or born out of Agent Orange defects work and this helps to give them self-esteem but also helps them to earn a living. The workmanship here was inspiring to say the least. At this factory they made anything from full dining suites to small bowls and the artwork was out of this world on all items that could be purchased. Was also very interesting in the process of these products. Time to relax and back to the hotel for a regroup as being not so young any more we needed to do this from time to time. We also went to the Cu Chi tunnels were the Viet Cong lived (I hope I have got that right). These people lived in the tunnels that ordinary people like you and me of western build would not have been able to move around in them. These tunnels were three levels and went for miles. They were made by hand and shovelled the sand with such small implements. The excess sand I believe went into the Saigon River. A gentleman at the tunnels was making sandals out of old rubber tyres as these lasted many years as you could imagine. Going back to the tunnels I found fascinating as besides being small to survive in them it is hard to comprehend that sixteen thousand people lived in them for about sixteen years coming out only at night time and tending to their rice fields and any thing else that was required. Men, women and children alike lived here and the three things that were required to survive were no noise, no smoke and no footprints. How clever where these people when it came to survival. No noise in case the enemy was near, no smoke coming from the tunnels when cooking so that the enemy could not detect them from the ground or the air. To do this they had another tunnel that travelled for miles and this allowed the smoke to filter to the outside world with out being recognise for what it was and often could I suppose be mistaken for the early morning mist. In doing this if it was spotted from the air and bombs were dropped it was nowhere near the people that the tunnels were protecting. The footprints so that no one knew where the entrances where to the tunnels and honestly the ordinary person who had no training would have found it hard to find. Even the air vents were concealed in ways you would not have been looking for. These were like anthills around a tree and at the very base was a small hole. They had a firing range there where you could buy bullets and fire machine guns etc, which made walking through the jungle like being amongst the real deal. So yes it was very interesting to say the least and of course our guide was just so knowledgeable. Also included in the tunnels were hospital, kitchen, meeting room etc. Every time we returned to the hotel from a tour to the hotel it rained so that was lucky. That night we went to a show of water puppets that tells a lot of little stories about the people and the country and was most enjoyable. We then went for dinner and boys are those restaurants busy, it is often lucky to just get a seat. The food in Vietnam was very enjoyable I must say and different from the Asian food we tend to eat here in Australia. They also eat a lot of salad with their meals along with coriander and mint.
Shopping was great even though we did not do lots but what we bought was what was needed for us and did not buy for all the grandkids so that made it easier. Material was beautiful and if I had time to sew my clothes would have bought lots so I went for the shoes instead. On the Thursday we took a cooking class and made four dishes including our own soy milk which I just cannot take to here at home but making it fresh and having it warm with sugar was an entirely different, even Robert drank it and did not complain but we both said no to the tofu as just cant do it unfortunately. Come Friday it was time for us to pack and go home. Seven days was long enough for me even though I enjoyed my time there and will go back to see more as there was a bit of sight seeing that we did not get to do, one including going up the Saigon river and spending more time at the zoo. On the last day we took a trip in a rickshaw to see the sights in the back streets and that was a pleasant experience. Robert kept trying to tell me we were over in weight for our luggage and I kept telling him we were not but just to be sure so that we did not have to pay excess I asked my guide to take our bags through the weigh quickly and that they not be overweight and that is exactly what happened so thankyou for that guys, much appreciated. Also as we had a long journey home could we please have an extra seat next to us in case we wanted to have a nap from Singapore to Australia? (Forgot to ask for the comfortable ones) Just as the plane was getting ready to close the door some one sat in the third seat next to me and this lady was pregnant and would have been uncomfortable for her as the seats were hard and being in the last row you get the smells from the kitchen and the stream of people using the toilets. I made a gesture to Robert saying oh well we will have to make do with out the spare seat. With in ten minutes of being on the plane the lady was shifted to a more comfortable seat down the front which left the spare seat but it was so uncomfortable that neither of us could relax in it so we just stayed awake and watched movies all the way home to Perth. Everything went smooth there as we always have things to declare and then for the 3-hour drive home so we were knackered when we got there. Nice to be home though.
My friend Stephanie came to stay that day as well as she was doing the fair in Bunbury and it was quiet busy she said but the energies were not good. I went down and checked it out and yes things were not good for the fact that it was not set out well and you often intruded on readings and healings with out even knowing that you were doing this. Lots of new people there this time with different gifts that they were using to do the readings with.
Church is on this weekend and Mandy and I are in Geraldton and that is where I am writing this. We arrived yesterday and once again new people here doing the readings at the retreat but it is very quiet as we normally do this fair in October and has always been good to us but the people just are not coming today and this may be that there is lots of sport on and for many would be their finals so cant complain just keep putting it out there to bring the people as there is still tomorrow to go.
Well the day is over and hardly any one coming and even the most popular readers have not been busy so the guides up stairs had better bring them in tomorrow as normally we are flat out with the aura/chakra machine. Sold a few books so that is good as it goes towards buying more stock.
Will be sorry I am not at church tomorrow, as have a great medium and lovely lady coming from Rockingham to do the service and have asked Joyce to help at the table and introduce the medium etc and she has said she wont let us down. I did not think that she would anyway but I am learning to hand things over to others so that is a good thing for me to learn as I can be a little possessive of things especially the church and the circles. So by allowing others to do it is good and has a lot of support now in Capel and will be good for the others to run it without Mandy and I sometimes, as it is their church also.
Well I guess that is it for now and will write later

3/9/2009
Well done mandy and vita at the church service last night. We started off with nerves and mandy kept saying how she wished she was some where else as did not feel her guides around her. But they certainly came to the for front when she was giving proof of survival and the messages that went along with it. We let Vita go first, brave people that we are. From deciding that we were not doing church services anymore as they find it nerve racking we are now doing them next year as at this service spirit showed them what they are capable of. not much happening here apart from trying to get the house organised and the washing done as we are going to Vietnam tomorrow and cant wait. see you when i get back..

1/9/2009 well the start of another month bringing us closer to Christmas. Mandy and i had a fair at the weekend just for the day and must say it was very slow and not many people. I think freo has been saturated with fairs and people are over it. There seems to be a fair every other week. This one was a fund raiser which is why we went along and was good in one way as not expensive for table hire. But unfortunately as i said it was slow and not many through the door. One gentleman who was selling the Indian drums was packed and gone by 12 o'clock that is how slow it was and did not really pick up in the afternoon. Met some interesting people and one lady in particular came and was looking at the books. Her comment to me was "I am a spiritualist", my answer was that is good. she then continued to tell me she had gone professional this year as a spiritualist and that did I know it was a religion. My answer to that was yes i knew that as i have a church, and instantly she turned away and left and did not come any where near us after that. It is almost like they are the first person who has discovered our beliefs. Around three i was ready to go home as was so over it and we only did a couple of readings. I got the easy one i think as some people don't really come for readings as they interrupt you at every word with what they want you to tell them and not really interested. the only readers that were doing well were the ones who were charging 15.00 so the ones that do the fairs all the time and charge a standard 40.00 were not busy maybe three clients at best. I also noticed that those who advertised that they did Pranic healing were busy but those that just had healing on their fliers were lucky if they got a client. People only go to those who have a "title" as they think they are getting something different and therefore don't mind paying for it. I a off to Vietnam and looking forward to that on Friday and then off to our favourite fair in Geraldton. we did church last month and it went well numbers are increasing. have a good week and remember to enjoy all of it

9/8/09 How is your life going at the moment. I think that is something that we all need to focus on from time to time and must ask ourselves are we having that few quiet moments where we are not worrying about anyone else but ourselves. Taking time out to breath, and to re assess where we are going and how we are filling our days and also living life to its fullest. One thing about having Mina staying with us made me realise that although i love to look at an take in the stars in the night sky, i was not taking time to to appreciate their beauty and what we take for granted. I realise this more and more when i do readings and see into those lives's that i am tuning into. At the moment whilst typing this i am appreciating the hot chocolate that i am making time to enjoy instead of just drinking it and looking at the wild life in my front garden. Mandy teaches me unknowingly about the beauty i am surrounded by in my own gardens as she always just sits and takes the time to take it all in. not only the beauty but the quietness that seems to settle over the property. It is there all the time but do i actually appreciate it. No i don't think so but i am learning. I am also learning to focus more on me and what i want to change about myself and at the moment have been training myself to focus on a different sleep pattern so that i am not so tired all the time and this seems to be working so far. I am pleased with that and then intend to concentrate on focusing on my aches and pains through work related injuries to see if i can improve those. I am pleased that i don't work in the real world so to speak. Some asked me what i did the other day and i told them that i work for God, the hours are great but the money not always on time but enjoy, no I love what i do. Mandy has completed her hypnotherapy and wants to put everyone under. It is good to see as i think it has enhanced her intuition in some way and given her more confidence. We did a fair at the weekend and had a great day and met some really lovely people. Although lots of us were selling similar products we actually did well as this meant there was a lot of variety and what we did not have, some one did so all went well. Mandy did lots of readings and seemed very comfortable in doing them so she has grown lots since we have been doing the aura/chakra machine. I also found that my readings flowed well too. Had one lady and her mum and i think maybe she was a bit dominated by her mum as every time i said something to her the mum replied with an answer or a question. The lady having the reading was not a young person (like teenage or in the twenties). I got the feeling she did not like who the daughter was married to but not up to me to tell her to leave him was up to her to change the situation and try to improve it or at least communicate her feeling to her partner. Mandy and i walked away from there on a high. It was a sad start to the day thought as a close friend of ours turned up to do readings only to get a phone call to say her mum had passed away in the early hours of the morning. Poor Kath, but she decided to stay for a little and did 4 reading before reality caught up with her and she went home to fly out that night to her mothers home town. Our thoughts are with her at this time as it is hard when one looses a parent or some one close to them even with our understanding of "death".
Mandy and i are looking forward to our next fair at the end of august and then i am off to Vietnam for a week to give my husband a break from work before he tips over the edge because of the busy time he has at his work place at the moment. Mandy, Vita and i have to make the decision of whether we will be doing the churches next year or not. Our little church here in Capel is going well and will take time to build and i am patient most of the time. But i am getting back into the swing of it after being away for a few years. Have a wonderful day wont you and will hopefully be back on line soon.

Mandy and i have been busy since last on line which is not a bad thing. We did some aura photos and readings for a couple of days up in rockingham and that proved success full and they have asked us to go and do some more days there so we are looking forward to that. It was a lovely shop that we worked at and the ladies that own it are also nice. We are off to another psychic fair in rockingham on the 9Th of august so should be interesting once again. Also we did an aura party for one of the girls down here in capel and was an interesting night as everyone has their own thing going on so the readings were all very different but it was nice just to meet different people down here for a change. All circles are working hard at the moment and i was given a reading last year that said i was going to be teaching differently this year and i thought i don't think so how can i do it differently. Well as usual spirit guide us without even knowing it and low and behold my whole way of doing things has changed and it is great as a lot more knowledge is coming forth for the learning. The church is going good and cant wait until this months meeting as have a very interesting lady doing the platform and sounds lovely over the phone. Mandy and i did a work shop on the basics of working with spirit and feel from the feed back that it went well. Two lovely ladies came down from Geraldton for the weekend and stayed with us so hence lots of questions to answer and made the brain really work. after the workshop and church my brain had gone into relax mode and was not really thinking about anything. Vita is still channeling and have good nights and bringing lots of different people through and have told us it is time for her to be out there so maybe look at that later on in the year. I have been busy with massages and healing are becoming popular again which is good as i think we could all use some at this time including me. People just wanting to talk to find out where they need to be. And in between still babysitting my two gorgeous boys down here. Mandy when she stays is seeing and hearing spirit around the house, i think i am sleeping too heavy to share in the moment. It is a time in the world where everyone is reflecting on things in a more serious manner i think with the economic crisis and so many out of work and not many jobs around at the moment and if you are lucky to get an interview then you are there along with lots of other people. Congratulations to Mandy for doing her hypnotherapy course and no excuse not to get out do some work which i am sure she will be looking forward to. As like me Mandy loves the regression side of things. there is probably more i should be writing here but am tired and am going off to bed now as busy day massaging tomorrow morning.

Life has been pretty good so far but was very sad this morning when i heard that Micheal Jackson had died as there goes a very talented and extra ordinary human being.
Mandy and are still working hard although it does not seem that we may doing much. We had a Reiki Master workshop on Friday and Spiritual Healing course on the Saturday and still surprises me how much we learn each time we share our knowledge. We also opened our centre here in Capel and that went well with Willie More opening the service for us and i think people will come more and more once they find out how the service is run and what we are about. We are trying to raise money for wheelchairs for country kids as there is not enough to go around at the hospital where they attend. It is nearly 3 hours away so makes it difficult to return to the hospital once they have finished with them. We have signed up for a few more fairs so hopefully it will be nice weather as it is raining constantly at the moment. Not that i mind as we have a lake in the front of our property and as i sit at the computer you can see the water increasing and the wild life on the lake so nice. David Wells went back to England and unfortunately did not get to spend any more time with him but have his books now and will read up on what i missed out on at the shows. He too is in to regression so i am sure the reading will give me the opportunity to learn more. My friend Peter went to just about all his shows i think as he was helping out at the door so to speak and loved every minute of it. Mandy at last did channeling on Tuesday night after about 2 years of her saying not tonight i am not ready. Well spirit made sure she was ready and once she sat down you could see spirit all around her strongly so there fore Vita's guides took her down and helped her out and wow it was great. A young girl by the name of Suzie came through who was 5 and spoke to us although not in a strong voice but a voice all the same. it was funny as i Lent forward and was talking to her and all of a sudden she bent forward and asked me who i was so that was enough to frighten Kylie. Looks like circle is gonna take a turn for more interesting events in the future. So will keep you updated on that.

Life has been a bit quiet on the home front and poor Mandy is missing the excitement but it will pick up again as i am looking at other fairs and have decided that the psychic fairs are better to do than the music or the agricultural ones. The circles have been interesting as the more we bring discussions into them the more we learn. Did a regression on Vita and that was interesting so we are going to go back into that past life as there is more information needed to put the pieces together. This week we had a break from the Tuesday circle as all not well and Gloria gone up north for a holiday.Did a pasta weekend with Peter and his mum which we enjoy immensely and made heaps of lasagne's for the next few months. Whilst we were making pasta Peter casually announces that we have a lunch guest and that we would be serving them some of our vegetarian lasagna. When we inquired who it was, lo an behold it was David Wells from England who is well known for his books and astrology and also regressions etc. All i could think of was that i had not put make up on etc and would just have to look like i had a rough day. Peters mum commented that she did not know that David was coming for lunch and was gonna have to look like she did as well. He came with his manager and she was lovely and they both enjoyed the food we made. David has been here doing ghost tours and evenings with Donna Wignall from Perth. I had to plead ignorant as i had not read any of Davids books as hard to get here. He has presented me with one of his books and signed it "love and lasagna" how is that. Easily impressed i am but sorry that i could not see any of his shows as he is in the city and i was booked for other things here in the country. I did invite him to the Tuesday night circle if he was free.
Mandy, Brooke and I put on a fund raiser at Kylie's house in Spearwood a couple of weeks ago offering readings, massage, healing or aura photos and Kylie took meditations in a marquee for those who had time to spare. The day went really well and felt good raising money for a single mum with kids who was doing it tough and the response was great. Everyone enjoyed the sausage sizzle that was also on offer. Mandy did lots of mini reading with the Aura imaging which was a good confidence booster for her while i did massage and reflexology and healing. Donna Wignall has also offered her services so we are organising an evening with her over the next few weeks.
Life is good as far as my spirit connection is concerned as when i need advice and a helping hand from those upstairs we are working more as one. I have asked for more healing to come for those who are in need and as usual they have not let me down as i really want to get back into that side of my development. i have missed doing the healing and that is only because people are not aware of how much it helps us through life's journey. When i was not well last week i must say i did that much healing on ones self that after two days i felt the best i had been in a long time.

Ohhhhhhhh i missed going to the York Fair which is just over an hour from Perth. My daughter Kylie went with Mandy instead which i am sure they both enjoyed. It was Kylie's first fair and she enjoyed it. I had visitors come and stay so was impossible to go seeing i had made the commitment many months ago. So with not being there can not give you much detail but i do know that there were as usual many fairs on around the country side and in the city and Mandy said although we sold quite a few items there were not many people wandering around.
Many people had inquired about the centre (church) that we are opening in Capel and all seem very interested so that was a good sign for us. I feel that with the way the world is going financially and with all those that are running fairs numbers seem to be down. But then again when the fairs first began they were very few and far apart now there is three or four happening every weekend and they seem to be going over a period of days instead of a weekend like the old days. Also there seem to be many out there that are working them asking the clients questions a lot of them time which i teach my students they are not to do as that is feeding the messenger. We also went to church instead of circle to see how that side of things was fairing and although the ladies on were good they too asked many questions ???? have to wonder.

Have been away doing fairs in Harvey and pememberton the last two weeks and have been taking my student where i go. Mina comes from Nara in Japan and is 16 yrs and such a lovely person. Especially when she cooks and tonight we had a Japanese curry. We enjoyed Pemberton as Mandy and Mina had not been there before and it is such a unique country town and where Roberts family has lived and worked many, many years ago and i don't think it has changed much since the early days. Many people there were interested in the Tibetan products that we sold so that was really good. There were many kangaroos on the road so that showed Mina what they are like and how dangerous they are especially when they are sitting in the middle of the road and was we drove into the drive way of my friends winery how crazy they can be when they cant jump the fences and go from one side of the road to the other as they have no sense of direction. It has been interesting to see that although many people are still attending the fairs for a day out not many are spending due to the economic crisis here. Also how differently the people in the many towns we go to buy products. What is good in one town does not always sell in another so you can not always keep up with what is wanted and what is not. Quiet weekend this week as only going to a friends for a bbq so that will be nice to relax and will miss having Mandy around as she is like family only you don't always hear her as she is always busy amusing herself with her own stuff.

Last night we had circle and invited two guests in to enjoy the wonderful experiences that spirit share with us through Vita. One of the quests had no idea what we did and curiosity drew him to spend the evening and he certainly learnt that spirit are not to be afraid of and that we are not witches at all. Micheal who has been to us before two years ago and is from Wales out here on holidays, he enjoyed the night and also how much Vita has moved on with her channeling. It never ceases to amaze me with what they show us each time. The people that come through and those from the higher realm how they glow and also how Vita changes in her appearance completely to the sounds of the different voices. At one stage she was standing and leaning forward as if she was going forward but this was for her to trust those that are assisting her and also for us to see what is different about her. And different it was, as when i looked up at her (i was sitting on the floor for a better view), she grew extremely tall and completely in white and you could see the facial features of a male and so pure was the light around her it was incredible to see, The of course came Elizabeth, she was prim and proper and was experiencing the first time coming through but she was also confused about moving into the light although she could see it she just needed to be guided through to it. We asked her to come back when she was settled in on the other side and she will when the time is right. She has a lovely sense of humour and very upper crust with the way she spoke and sat politely with her legs crossed and head held high. I always come away totally amazed at what we see and what a privildge it is for us to be able to work with someone like Vita and her guides and all i can say is that i hope to coninue for many years working with this lovely group and their guides. We are having huge lessons in the beginners groups as though they can bring the messages through well it is the proof of survival that i want to be done with more information. The students will always start off with i have your grandfather etc with you and i have to stop them there as it is more important to bring through what they look like and what their personality is so that the person accepting the reading knows that the medium actually has that person working with them giving them information. Also i do notice some still give the odd cold reading so that is something that they need to work on as well. But hey they have a life time to learn and i have all the time in the world to teach them.
