Hi everyone i thought it was about time i updated this blog and to let you know how successful we were with this fundraiser and where the money has gone
Firstly the mediums that were on the night were Peter Hall, Sally Spencer, Margaret Parrott, Donna Wignall, Vita, Kathy Perkins and Kathleen Kelsey
Each medium bought their own unique gifts and style to the evening and also many messages were given on the evening. We had one hundred people come to the event and i know that does not sound a lot but for a small country town like Capel this was more than we could have hoped for. It has been requested that we do another event so that will be on the calendar for later in the year with other mediums but not as many this time. I have learnt from this experience and know that i can improve on this one in many ways.
We have donated money to the St John Ambulance here in Capel and Boyanup as they are volunteers and are always there to help those in the community at the ring of the telephone and we never know how many times we need these volunteers until we need to use them personally. I also have some money to help a youth group in Capel but unfortunately i have not been in touch with the person who runs this yet as time and health with my hubby has not allowed it to. But over the next couple of weeks have put some time aside to catch up on all that is required to do this
