hello all once again an opportunity has come for me to update the blog. Life is looking good at the moment and hoping it continues
We are off to Bali on Thursday for our very first Spiritual Retreat at Candi Dasa. We have 24 people coming for seven days to learn more about themselves and how they can better their lives and hopefully take away enough tools and information for that to happen
Everyone is so excited. Many things have happened since our last contact with family issues and trying to sort through those and how hard it is at times to get help from the system with those that are dealing with drugs as i have a niece who is involved in that scene and how it affects her children. The system does not listen very clearly and unfortunately can be judgmental so i put it out to spirit and help has finally come after many years of frustrations. The children are being given the help that they deserve and need and i cannot help their mother but just knowing that i can help them is reward in itself so they have a chance to become worthy adults knowing that they have a future to look forward to
I am also holding another retreat april 12/14 to learn about healing and colour along with aroma therapy, healing with clay and more so hopefully this will be as successful as the Bali retreat
I have had help from a couple of wonderful ladies that work within the system and with out them i would still be floundering. Hopefully when i get back from Bali it will all be in place. I know that there are many people in the world that are going through the same situation and my heart goes out to you and hope that people listen to your story and give the assistance or help to link you to those that will assist in the journey you are going through
Churches are going well now as we have opened back up after the xmas and new people are turning up at each service. I must say we have about 8 children attending the services with their parents now and it is lovely to see that parents are allowing them to attend so that their spiritual paths continue and i met a lady today who was only young when she attended my church in Fremantle so nice to see after all these years she has found her way to Busselton. Many people are moving from up north down to the south west and how i am meeting people who i did courses for up there. People down south are now opening up a bit more which is really good and have been doing readings for some who are looking for the spiritual side of things and it has been good as been able to advise them where to go and how to get there. Have got back into the healing side of things again as that is most rewarding and have gone back to teaching Spiritual Healing as it so easy and simple and i love to teach it as i find many people have learnt different healing but always find that when i have finished the course they say that they have learnt things that they did not know. Healing whether teaching or doing is so rewarding.
I have a person in my circle and i am sure he wont mind me mentioning this but he was saying that he gets so hung up on the news and the more he watches or read it the more he needs to. He found he could become angry or suffer anxiety so his homework for the week was, yes you guessed it no news for a week. When he came last week and did not watch the television he found he was better and he did not really need to know all that was being broadcasted. And yes i am practicing what i am preaching as have not been having the telly on as much and find it has been a lot better and given me time to do other things. I would love to have spent more time outside but it has been so hot here that i tend to stay indoors apart from going to my day job as i my skin does not like the heat and i try very hard not to get sun burnt and everything is so dry at the moment but they say rain is on the horizon
Well the good new is that i am going to America for xmas and will look forward to the cold and the snow as my family members have moved to Buffalo and so will be staying with them and at last i will be going to Switzerland to catch up with a student who came to stay with me a few years back and is like a son to us and have kept in touch with him all this time so i feel the future is pretty good
Roberts health is still a concern as although it looks like there is no more cancer from the last tests he had he is suffering from his back which is playing up after breaking the lower vertebrae and since having chemo is in constant pain with his joints and muscles and was on medication for a few weeks and that was really good but the specialist weaned him off the pills to see if the pain came back and it has in full force so that upsets the day some as this causes anger issues to arise as he is still moving on from the break down he had four years ago so not been a very good few years for him but i think times are changing for him and the faith is sneaking into his life a little. He actually came to church the other day and this is the first time in twenty years that he has come to the church that i run and he actually listened to what the medium was saying when she did her philosophy and has taken it on board. Hope for him yet as he says that he will come again. Marvelous is it not when he had been denying or making fun of what i do (in a good way) that he has finally seen the light (we hope)and will be the photography at the retreat
I have also learnt a lesson as i have handed all the book work over to him as not that i don't have time to do it but it frees me up to spend my energies else where and gives him something to do on the computer besides playing games as i think he misses the doing office work as he has not done that since his break down and think he misses it
We are beginning sound journeys in Bunbury as from this Wednesday and i know that this will be successful as many people are now becoming more aware of how sound can make a difference to our lives. We have a new large Indian drum that is beautiful and so now am on the look out for a hang drum so if anyone knows the best place to buy one please let me know
time to go and do some work although both my printers are not working at the moment and need them to print off manuals for Bali so hopefully the computer guy can fix them tomorrow
