From the last time i wrote on my blog life has once again become busy. I am recovered from the cancer although still get tired but some times this is from a busy life as have now got four circles running so that keeps one busy and now and again still doing sound journeys and have met a gentle man who owns a sixty inch gong and wow how great is that as he now comes to Bunbury to play with us. What an awesome sound although it does take a while to put the frame work together. But well worth it. Have been doing more platform work this year which i love to do as bringing spirit through to love ones is well worth it although we still have those that come that are skeptic and when you give some a message and they go no cant take this or i don't know that person and then come up after the evening has finished and confirm that they knew who the person was but did to say in case they were wrong. Challenges come up in ones life all the time whether physical or spiritual and it is how we deal with them that counts. This year i have met a lady from the area who has come to live in Bunbury. She had lived on the streets for many years and had done every drug under the sun from the age of thirteen. She had also been in and out of jail just to put the icing on the cake. She had children and was married to a partner who was also addicted to drugs and unfortunately twelve months ago he had died from the damage that drugs had done to his body and organs, mind you he was not good at taking medication to help his illness caused from the drugs. Between them they have eleven children. This woke this female person up literally as now she had to be the sole supporter of the children and decided to get off the drugs. She went to a retreat on the east coast of Australia for a week and was very expensive (money was a problem) and she forwent a lot of things to go as she was desperate not to end up with a death sentence as a well known medium had told her if she did not change her ways her children would have neither parents. Sad that we have to lose someone or something so close to us before we change our lifestyle to have a better way of life. I admire this person who had been on drugs from such a young age until now late thirties and went completely cold turkey. It has now been six months and has so many plans for the future to help others to beat their addictions that she has been to different ministries with in the government and they are now going to assist in purchasing a building for her to set up a retreat here in the south west where we like many other places have a huge issue with drugs. I feel privileged that she has asked me to assist not in setting up as she is quite capable of doing this herself but asking for advice with each step she takes. My next step is to get her into the school which i am working on at the moment so she can tell her story and maybe change the lives of some young people before they get into the same or similar situation as what she did. Keeping busy putting her plans together and studying for her social work degree has also helped her change her lifestyle plus moving away from the people who were apart of the old life. I do believe her husband is playing a huge part of this from the spirit world and through photos she has shown to me where spirit have had his face in the clouds and messages she has received from him confirms all the time that he is working with her to achieve this success and i will be there to assist where ever i can. Her past is of no interest to me as it is her enthusiasm for the future that i love to see and feel and be apart of.
The centres we have are building with the patronage which is good to see and the feed back is great. This is a year for my students that have been with me for a long time are beginning to do platform work and learning lots of lesson in giving messages from spirit. I go to a church that sometimes only has ten people maximum at it but i love the energy there and Vita and i are always welcomed with open arms. One of my students said why would i travel the five hours in total to get there and home again for that many people and when i replied that was my service to spirit as it is not about the numbers but the people that attend she just shrugged her shoulders and said she would not do it. Some people just don't get it. To receive we must also give.
Time again to go to Bali and do another retreat. We took fourteen people across to learn the gifts that we all own and what a mixed bag of people they were. We had some people that were dedicated runners, most having not done any of this work before, and a couple from my circles. First day was just a relax day to get to know the hotel and Candi Dasa and just get over the flight and relax.
Saturday was a planned excursion where after breakfast we headed to the Water Palace that the King owned and is absolutely beautiful, off to the Chocolate Factory where we sampled the delights of Cacoa chocolate and the Drinks that they made mmm delicious and of course we all bought some of the product. It was then off to the part of the retreat i had been working on for weeks and that was to see a Balian Healer, i asked the guide to take me to an Agar (old village)to see this person and as i was not quite sure of exactly where the one was that i went to last year, the guide asked me if it was the west village or the east village so i flipped a coin and said west village. When we got there i realized it was not the same village but i just went with it and asked if there was a healer in the village and could we see him and if we could have an interpreter, this was granted. It was raining and was told we would have to go to the garden to see him and that it was a half hour walk. Not a problem for us we said not realizing that is was up hill and in the jungle so to speak. What an adventure, this was on ANZAC day as well, we trekked up the mountain on a goat trek with a way down if you slipped so we made sure we watched every step of the way. On of the exercises i had planned on the retreat was to do something blind folded so that they could learn to trust those that were going to be leading them. I did not have to do this as we finally got to see the healer and he was just like the one out of Eat Love n Pray, we gathered at his home all fifteen on of us and unfortunately time only allowed us to have a maximum ten minutes with him as darkness was falling. He took each of us in a room and did a channel to spirit and then he did a cleansing with each person and they asked question and he channelled the answer through an interpreter. My question was healing for my anxiety that was at its peak because of a physical situation at work before i left and where was my spiritual path going. He did the healing and i felt better really straight away and then he told me that my physical job was going to be less and less and my spiritual work was going to be more and more over two year period. I was happy with that but will definitely go back in sept with my daughters and take them to have the experience and stay with him longer. It was late and it was dark and we were running late to get back for the welcome dinner so we started down the hill whilst it was drizzling with rain and the only torch we had was from one mobile phone, talk about trusting the person in front of you if you could see them. They were all envisioning what it was like for our diggers on the Kokoda trail relying on your mates and watching every step you took so you did not go down the side of the hill. We all got down safe and sound and went back to the hotel for a quick shower and dinner and talking what a great day it was and how they enjoyed the healer and what they received from him.
Sunday and Monday was teaching physic development and was amazed that those that had not done this work before were doing really well. At the end of day we had channelling in the evening with Vita and once again the singing was of an surreal being. Candi Dasa is a very spiritual place in Bali and is at the base of Mt Agung. One of the girl we had to arrange for a flight back to Perth as her sister was doing a fun run and had a heart attack and was in hospital. Update was she required a pacemaker and is doing well now.
Free day once again well not really free as i had planned for the staff at the Puri Oka to do a cooking class in the rice fields of their village. They cooked many dishes too many really for us all to eat but the students all helped to prepare the ingredients and once again working together which bought them closer together. After lunch it was off to Ubud for shopping for the students and book hunting for me as my Balian teacher had written a book on Mudras and Mantras so looking forward to reading it once i settled down from retreat.
Next today was Marg Parrott doing the channelling workshop and i had taken my table across to do table tipping with my friend who owns the hotel and we did this with Vita, Marg, Megan, my husband Robert who along with Megan had never experienced this before and were absolutely astounded that the table could move across a room with the energy from spirit and of course our energy as well. Since Robert has experienced this phenomena he has asked to do it again as his mother came through and was giving answers to his questions.
We of course bought this into the levitation course and one of my students who has witnessed the table many times and loves to do it decided to try to prove that there was an issue with the table and did all but turn it upside down to see if the legs were manipulated by us. I could not believe it and of course i felt that he was trying to disrepute what we were there to teach but the table won out. He comes from a religion that was what he says now was a cult and he needs to free himself from that so he can continue learning on a different level. I always say to him we are not here to change your views but to enhance them and he needs to see that he cannot change our views only enhance our learning but he is very logical with everything he does and does tend to get people of side. I was doing a reading for him at a mediums night and he said he did not know the person i was giving him and then comes up the next day that yes he knew the person's father and had talked to him the week before. Makes you wonder sometimes why we do it but i wont give up what i love because some one has their own doubts with spirit. We then went on to do more channelling with Vita and in the past this person has always said he did not believe in channelling and i don't have a problem with a person having their own opinions but when we finished he questioned everything she did and then turned to all and said she did not bring spirit through. Vitas guide came in and told him about what channelling was about and he still was not happy with what was explained to him. My issue with this was that i had spent twenty years training Vita with her Mediumship and Channeling and all that i could think of was Vita and that if she lost her confidence with what he was saying then she would not do platform again. I know many highly respected mediums watch Vita work with channelling and have all been impressed with her genuine connections with spirit. People forget that we are all channels we just do it differently and this person was very gifted with philosophy and inspirational writing but does not see it as coming from spirit but from his logical mind.
Retreat comes to an end with everyone going off and finishing their shopping and having a pampering getting ready for the farewell meal
Saturday saw everyone go on their journey home hopefully taking lots of lessons with them and hopefully continuing their learning and commitment with spirit
I stayed in Candi Dasa for a few more days to relax and enjoy visiting the Ayurveda clinic which included seeing the doctor and having some treatment for balancing the body as i did not get to join in with the yoga this trip
Feed back was that the retreat was a success and have people booking for the next one in 2016 and also the health and wellness retreat we are putting together for November 2015
On a different level we are now doing Healing days and these are becoming very popular where we bring providers together to share their gifts with those who do not know or understand what we do. We charge a five dollar entry and this allows them to experience healing, crystal healing, energy work, massage, sound journey etc. These events started out with a few people and now we are getting more and more through the door who are enjoying what we have to offer that we may have to move it to a larger venue
